Why?

What compels me to post about all of these different, seemingly unrelated awards? I’m interested in posting information about all of the top awards that reflect peek performance.
I believe top athletes (not just professionals but also amateurs) should be rewarded for their hard work with tangible, large rewards.

In today’s world of “pictures or it didn’t happen,” we must have evidence of how much better we are than those that got last place! Just kidding ;)

I would argue that the Heisman is probably one of the most well known awards in sports. If you are awarded the Heisman, you are headed on the path to do great things. Yet, not everyone knows what it looks like despite the name recognition. Well now you will know what it looks like when you are awarded one of these little football trophies. Hockey Trophies – MVP Award

In order to win this huge hockey trophy, you must be the MVP. But not just any MVP! The Conn Smythe Trophy is awarded to the most valuable player of the NHL’s Stanley Cup playoffs. When it is not being given out at the celebration, it lives at the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Rugby Trophy – Powergen Cup

Rugby!

This beautiful award is known as the Powergen Cup. This picture was taken in 2002 at the London Irish clubhouse at Sunbury. Rest asure, this beautiful trophy has only gotten nicer since then.
